The problem
Georgia Cooper has been baking since 2015 and makes cakes as Georgia Faye Bakes from her home kitchen in Alsager, Cheshire. Her buttercream wedding and celebration cakes win awards. This month she was named Personalised Cake Specialist of the Year at the Central England Prestige Awards, and she has been a finalist at the County Brides North West and Proper Northern wedding awards.
Her website did not match any of that. It was a template Wix site, and when she came to us the domain had been put on hold, so it was not loading for anyone. Bookings were made by message, and couples searching for a wedding cake maker in Cheshire had nowhere to land.
What we did
We rebuilt the site around her work. Every cake photo was edited onto the same pale pink as her brand, so 97 cakes, from four tier weddings to cafe tray bakes, read as one portfolio. Any photo opens full screen, so a couple can see the detail before they get in touch.
The enquiry form does the back and forth for her. It asks for the date, what the cake is for, how many it needs to serve and the venue, answers the common questions alongside, and sends the customer a confirmation straight away. Georgia gets each enquiry by email, and it is saved in her own admin, where she can reply.
Every page address from the old Wix site forwards to the matching new page, so nothing she had built up on Google was lost. Each page is written for the searches her customers make, naming Alsager and the towns around it, and Georgia can change any page herself.
The result
The site went live on 21 September 2026 at georgiafayebakes.com. Enquiries now arrive with the details she needs to quote, every customer gets a confirmation the moment they send one, and her work looks as good online as it does on the day.
