Product photography

Photographs that do the selling.

Photography is usually the thing standing between a business and a working shop. We shoot the product photography for the stores we build, and on its own for businesses who already have a site. Either way you get a consistent set that makes a small range look deliberate.

What you get

The three shots that sell

The product on a clean background, the same product in context so the size reads, and a detail shot of the thing that justifies the price.

A set, not a pile

One backdrop and one session for the whole range, so the shop looks like one shop rather than twelve different afternoons.

Styled for your brand

Surfaces, props and colour chosen to sit with the rest of your brand, not against it.

Framed for the page

Space left around the product so the same photograph crops square for a product tile and wide for a banner.

Web-ready files

Edited, cropped and compressed at the sizes your shop actually needs, so the pages stay fast.

Yours to use

You own the photographs and can use them anywhere: your shop, social, print, wholesale decks.

How it works

  1. 01

Tell us the range and where the photographs need to work, whether that is the shop, social, or a wholesale deck.

  2. 02

We agree the look, the backdrops and the shot list before anyone unpacks a camera.

  3. 03

We shoot the range in one session, so the set stays consistent.

  4. 04

You get the edited files, sized and cropped for the web, ready to upload.

Proof

We rebuilt the product photography alongside the store, so the shop could launch with a set that matched the cakes.

Beth Bakes Cakes case study

Before and after

These are real photographs from Beth Bakes Cakes, and in each case it is the same cake. Drag the handle to compare. On the left is what the cake was being sold with, taken at home on a phone. Nothing about it is careless. It was taken to remember a cake rather than to sell one.

Celebration cake

A white cake on a white stand against a white wall loses its edges, and the pink drip that took longest to get right barely registers. On a blush backdrop with even light, both come back.

The gold drip is the point of this cake, and against a white wall it reads as a slightly darker peach. On the blush backdrop it is gold again, the coral reads as coral rather than orange, and the turntable is out of the frame.

Across the range

Cakes, granola, acai bowls. Different products, same approach: one backdrop, one session, and a set that makes a small range look deliberate.

Common questions

Straight answers.

No. Photography is part of the stores we build, but we shoot standalone too. If you already have a site, we can shoot the range and hand over the files ready to upload.
